The organic box scheme doesn't suit everyone. Maybe you like to plan your menus or want to guarantee your family will like all that arrives in your organic food delivery. If this is the case then you can make your own shopping list of organic fruit and vegetables.

A full price list of certified organic vegetables and fruit, available to buy online, can be found on the website under 'Shop'. Click on 'Veg Shop' or 'Fruit Shop'.

You will see here where each item comes from, how much it is and whether to order by weight or number. Some items can be ordered by number but are charged for by weight, eg apples. This allows you to make sure, for instance, you have enough bananas for the kids packed lunches!

There are two main differences between the organic box scheme and the 'own shopping list' methods of ordering organic fruit and vegetables.

1) With your own shopping list, you choose exactly which organic fruit and vegetables you would like. If we are short of an item of fruit or vegetables, we will only make obvious substitutions such as Royal Gala apples for Coxes apples. We would not substitute bananas for apples, for example.

2) With the organic box scheme, if we are short of something, we will find a replacement so that the value of your organic box remains the same.

When ordering individual items, you can choose to have 'No Substitutions', 'Sub Scottish' Vegetables and Fruit only, 'Sub UK' fruit and vegetables only or to 'Sub Anything' (within reason of course!). You can do this by going to 'My Preferences' after logging in.

To allow your organic food delivery to exactly meet your needs, you can change your own shopping list each time you order or you can place all, or some of it, as a regular order.

You can also order individual items as an extra to your organic box - especially handy for those who love lots of potatoes, have a special meal to prepare or those of us who simply MUST have banana and carrot sandwiches when we are pregnant!!
